Winston Thibodeau James does not like his life. His father is a town drunk and his mother, before leaving the family, worked at a strip club. He and his only friends enjoy burglarizing houses for the adrenaline rush. Winston decides to leave town and make a fresh start. On his way out, he agrees to one more burglary.
Only this time, the house is not empty. The homeowner is on the floor, unconscious and unresponsive. Instead of committing his felonious act, Winston saves the man’s life. This altruistic act changes the trajectory of his life, and the lives he touches along the way.

“I fell in love with the characters, especially Maureen. She is a hoot. And Ted, well he is the guy every girl needs in her life . . . a beautiful story of second chances.”
